What is Yoga?
Yoga is a mind and body practice with a 5,000-year history in ancient Indian philosophy. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation. In more recent years, it has become popular as a form of physical exercise based upon poses that promote improved control of the mind and body and enhance well-being. There are several different types of yoga and many disciplines within the practice - Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, Iyengar yoga, Kundalini yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Bikram yoga, Yin yoga, Restorative yoga
Before you Start Yoga
With the beautiful mindset of learning and respecting the etiquette and proprieties of the occasion, indulge us please in these Yoga Etiquette tips. Be punctual to every yoga class~ Turn off all electronics before yoga class~ Sign in and as you enter the studio~ Be aware of the space you take~ Remove shoes outside of the Yoga floor~ Clean up your space when finished~
