Below is a list of all our upcoming Events. You must be a member of the Westmeath Hunt Pony Club prior to booking an event. Click the orange link to submit an application for a particular event. If you wish to enter more than one event then enter your first event now and then simply come back to this section as required before finally checking out and paying.
Expression of interest for Area Qualifier May 5th : Dressage ,Combined Training , Team showjumping 2025 . Members wishing to jump on a Team must be available for the Final in July 23rd-25th to travel to Barnadown !
Classes are Dressage only classes all levels (inc beginners ) Combined Training - dressage and Showjumping classes combined (u10s, u12s, Junior, Intermediates) .. Dressage tests will be sent out to those who express interest. Showjumping only classes: Alice Mernagh (Team U12 jumping 75/80cm), Robbie Bailey ( Team U14 must have C test, jumping 90cm/95cm ) & John Ledingham (Team U21 jumping 1m/ 1.05 must have C test and of C+ standard, Novice SJ - 80cm, Senior Sj class also). Rules and restrictions are all available on irishponyclub.ie. Note entries are not open for this event.

General rally. Working on use of aids, balance, steering, small jumps, finishing with some fun and games. Approximate start time 5.30pm & 6.30pm. Suitable for all levels. 1 hour per group. 2 groups max. If your desired group is full please add your name to waiting list, so we can try and accommodate. If you are booked in and need to cancel please let us know asap so we can accommodate waiting members. no refund unless spot can be filled from waiting list within 3 days of rally. Pony Club Camp Week 2025 - 30th June-4th July.- All levels, from off the lead and trotting***. ****Limited places available **** ***members must attend 2 riding rallies before attending Camp week in the last 10months**** Full week of Fun (Ride out twice a day plus stable management)** **Must have own pony, if a member is bringing in a second pony during the week, they must compete HC on the last day.** *** Ponys/ Horses are stabled overnight, water checked nightly. *** Feed and bedding not supplied. Tack / riding equipment brought home nightly. Competition and Prize giving on Friday *****Passports must be up to date with flu / tetanus Vaccines** Full or First part Payment due April 14th, Second payment due May 8th, Final payment due June 8th. Note entries are not open for this event.
